Welcome to our Language Arts and History Classroom!  I am thrilled to be part of  the Pinnacle Academy team.  I  grew up in New York City, and graduated from Stony Brook University with a degree in Education and History.  I taught History in New York, Virginia and California.  In California, I also had experience teaching STEM in K-8 and 4th grade. STEM has always been a passion of mine, and incorporating it into my classroom creates real life connections for students. In the past I have taught: the Launch program, a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program for elementary students; Energy and the Environment; Robotics; and Design and Modeling.  All of these classes use the design process, and make learning fun and engaging. I love using technology and hands-on experiences to motivate my students.  The broadcast program engages students through technology and allows them to highlight achievements of other students at their school. This year I am looking forward to teaching at Pinnacle Academy, where my classroom will be filled with many fun and engaging activities.
